Private Training
Based on the premise that yoga is not “one size fits all,” Radius Yoga Conditioning Private Training is much more than merely yoga instruction in a private setting. Dana has developed a proprietary functional range of motion & muscular imbalance assessment that uses yoga-based movements to specifically identify areas of imbalance in strength and flexibility as well as potential for injury. Using the assessment results, data obtained from the client (and his/her coaches, trainers, doctors, etc., if applicable), and an understanding of the client’s goals, Dana creates an extensive report that serves as the foundation for program design. Working with each client, their program evolves to include progressions and modifications necessary to correct imbalances, avoid injury, and help them reach their personal goals. Dana's unique approach to private yoga training ensures optimum individualized benefits--empowering her clients to use yoga as a means for conditioning their bodies and minds to meet the demands of their lives. Athletes: also refer to the Sport-Specific page for even more information on Radius Yoga Conditioning's specific application to sport.

The first session is comprised of the comprehensive 90-minute assessment with time to discuss any concerns noted on the questionnaire (download the questionnaire/release form and submit it prior to the first session). The assessment is generally conducted in person but can also be done via Facetime or Skype.  Subsequent sessions include fully customized asana (physical posture) practice incorporating individualized elements of yoga based on the assessment results and the client's needs and interests--which could include, but is not limited to, rehab & restorative/therapeutic work, breathing techniques, meditation, advanced postures, etc. Sessions are conducted in person, on line and/or in conjunction with custom video programs.  Note: Dana's Elite Private Yoga Clients have access to the "Private Client Portal," where they can download their password-protected program files.

Radius Yoga is based in the Tampa Bay Area of Florida but Dana conducts private training, workshops and sports programs throughout North America, as well as online sessions throughout the world. Appropriate technology is required for online sessions to ensure quality training. Reasonable travel fees apply to travel outside New Port Richey, FL. On-location private sessions are generally conducted at a studio, performance center, or the client’s training facility (facility-use fees are paid by the client).

Length of sessions, after the initial 90-minute assessment, range from 45 to 120 minutes, and frequency depends on client needs. Prepaid multi-session package discounts are available, as well as semi-private, two-person rates.
