Private Training
Because Radius Yoga’s premise is that yoga should not be approached as “one size fits all,” Radius Yoga Conditioning Private Training is much more than merely yoga instruction in a private setting. To that end, Dana has developed a proprietary functional range of motion assessment that uses yoga-based movements to specifically identify areas of imbalance in strength and flexibility. Using the assessment results, data obtained from the client (and his/her coaches, trainers, doctors, etc., if applicable), and an understanding of the client’s goals, Dana creates an extensive written report that serves as the foundation for program design. As Dana works with each client, their program evolves to include the progressions and modifications necessary to correct strength & flexibility imbalances and help them reach their personal goals. This unique approach to private yoga training ensures optimum individualized benefits. Whether professional athletes, corporate desk jockeys, or stay-at-home parents, Dana empowers her clients to use yoga as a means for conditioning their bodies and minds to meet the demands of their lives.

The first session is comprised of the comprehensive 90-minute assessment and then subsequent sessions include fully customized asana (physical posture) practice with hands-on adjustments, guidance for practice between sessions, and work on any other elements of yoga that interest the client, including advanced postures, breathing techniques, meditation, etc. As a certified personal trainer, Dana also consults on overall physical fitness regimens to help her clients maximize their yoga practice as only one aspect of a larger lifestyle commitment to health and wellness. Leveraging her experience with Thai yoga massage, restorative & therapeutic yoga forms, and myofascial release techniques, Dana also offers appropriate bodywork to private clients in instances when a more rehabilitative practice best meets their needs.

Radius Yoga is based in the Tampa Bay Area of Florida but Dana conducts trainings, workshops and educational programs throughout North America and often travels for her training clients. Reasonable travel fees apply to training outside of New Port Richey, FL. Personal sessions are generally conducted at one of Dana’s affiliated studios or the client’s training facility. A list of locations in your area and associated entrance fees (if any) is available upon request. The first session incorporates time to get to know one another and discuss any concerns that may have been noted on the questionnaire (download the questionnaire/release form and submit it prior to the first session). Length of sessions (after the initial 90-minute assessment), range from 60 to 120 minutes, and frequency depends on client needs. Five & ten-session package discounts are available, as well as semi-private, two-person rates. Contact Dana for pricing.
