Private Training
Based on the premise that yoga is not “one size fits all,” Radius Yoga Conditioning (RYC) Private Training is much more than merely yoga instruction in a private setting. Dana has developed a proprietary functional range of motion & muscular imbalance assessment that uses yoga-based movements to specifically identify areas of imbalance in strength and flexibility, dysfunctional movement and potential for injury. Using the assessment results, data obtained from the client (and his/her coaches, trainers, doctors, etc., if applicable), and an understanding of the client’s goals, Dana creates an extensive report that serves as the foundation for program design.
Over the course of working with each client, their program evolves to include progressions and modifications necessary to correct imbalances, avoid injury, and help them reach their personal goals. Dana’s unique approach to private yoga training ensures optimum individualized benefits–empowering her clients to use yoga as a means for conditioning their bodies and minds to meet the demands of their sports and lives. Also refer to the Sports Programs page and/or the Youth Sports Programs page as well as the featured page for your sport from the Sports drop-down menu for even more information on RYC’s specific application to your sport.

The first session is comprised of the comprehensive 90-minute assessment with time to discuss any concerns noted on the questionnaire portion of the New Client Forms (a password to download the forms will be provided so they can be submitted prior to the first session). The assessment is generally conducted in person but can also be done via Skype/Facetime for long-distance clients. Subsequent sessions include fully customized sequences, incorporating individualized elements of yoga based on the assessment results and the client’s needs and interests–which could include, but are not limited to, corrective exercise, muscular flexibility & joint mobility/stability training, core integration, restorative/therapeutic work, breathing techniques, meditation, advanced postures, etc. Sessions are conducted in person, online and/or in conjunction with custom video programs. Note: Dana’s Elite Private Clients have access to the “Private Client Portal,” where they can download their password-protected program files.
Radius Yoga Conditioning is based in the Tampa Bay Area of Florida but Dana conducts private training throughout North America, as well as online sessions throughout the world.
