As featured on Fox Sports, CBS, CNNRadio, and other media outlets, Dana Edison is founder and director of Radius Yoga LLC, a national fitness consultancy business providing customized yoga conditioning through private training for individuals and teams. Specializing in serving pro athletes, Dana has experience with the NBA, MLB, NFL, NHL and MLS, including members and coaches from the Boston Celtics, Charlotte Bobcats, Orlando Magic, Boston Red Sox, Toronto Blue Jays, Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Cleveland Indians, New England Patriots, Washington Redskins, Boston Bruins, and Chivas USA. She is also the team instructor for the TCL Denton Outlaws and the yoga trainer for members of the Boston Fire Department. The author and creator of Yoga Is Not One Size Fits All™, Dana’s expert yoga and fitness advice has been highlighted nationally and internationally via the United Press International (UPI) news wire service, Men’s Journal Magazine, WebMD and others. And she has appeared on the cover of New Living Magazine.
Dana is a registered yoga teacher (RYT) with the Yoga Alliance, the only nationally recognized yoga instructor certifying body in the country. A gymnast since childhood, she has studied many styles of yoga with numerous highly esteemed teachers. She has also studied Thai-Shiatsu yoga massage. As a health and fitness professional, Dana is certified through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and holds a B.A. from Tufts University. She is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA), as well as the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), with which she completed Optimum Performance Training (OPT™).

To turn her passion for fitness into a fulltime endeavor, Dana left a successful marketing and public relations career that spanned more than a decade. Prior to her corporate career, she struggled as a teenaged mother, working to support her daughter and complete her education. During that time, she held multiple jobs to make ends meet, including used-car salesperson and ice cream truck driver. Driven to achieve the “American Dream,” by the age of 27, she had earned her degree with honors and was the top-level marketing executive at an international company. But, despite a career that afforded opportunities to mingle with the likes of a former president, Pulitzer prize-winning author, and a famous real estate tycoon, her business success began to feel increasingly superficial.
Dana’s exit from corporate America and launch of Radius Yoga Conditioning is evidence that she continues to evolve, as does her definition of success, which is now based on authentic goals rather than external ideals. She hopes that her life experience will inspire others to be true to their own aspirations and realize that “there are no dead ends—only opportunities to create new paths for others to follow.”
